(Updated March -22) Baby booties seem to be one of the most popular things to both crochet and knit! I saw some knitted using a flat piece and decided to use the same idea for crocheted booties. You crochet a flat piece back and forth, then continue the ribbed toe part.  After several tries and changes, I ended up with these booties!

There are three sizes in the pattern: newborn, 3 months and 6 months. Written instructions using American crochet terms and 13 close-up photos. Also a free video tutorial, see bottom of this page!

You can finish the booties off with ties that have either pom poms or tiny flowers at the end.
